Today, the small vilage of Llucmaçanes is one of the most sought after for its quiet rural setting.

   Staying in this village enables you to enjoy the countryside and to mix with the friendly local people.

   The church of St. Gaietà is situated near the village square. On one side of it there is a children´s playground and on the other a small patio with a stone cross.

   Opposite the church is the village hall where the neigbours associatión organises different cultural, sporting and social activities throughout the year. The most important event is the local “fiesta” which takes place the first weekend in August. During the “fiesta” you can enjoy the “Jaleo”(tradìtional horsemanship) and also lively dances and other activities.

   Around the village there are many rural lanes and tracks which are an open invitation for long walks or bike rides, a real opportunity to enjoy the clear Menorcan skies and the freshness of the countryside.
